My Holiday Gift for you – Putting the Quilt Together

This is probably my favorite part of the quilting process. Putting it all together !  When I first took a quilting class, the teacher talked about the three steps of making a quilt, 1) the idea/purchase, 2)the making of the quilt, 3) finished, the quilting/binding.

I think of this often, as I really LOVE the idea/purchase part, but a stack of fabric or blocks can NOT be called a quilt.

SO….Let’s start to put the quilt together.

Cut 6 Background – 2 1/2″ x 14 1/2″ sew as shown above

Cut 6 Background – 2 1/2″ x 14 1/2″  Cut 9 Red – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2 as shown above
