In my sewing room today, as I was having lunch, I want to share this little quilt. One of my favorite things is to eat at my computer desk in my office and just be. With Husband home, it doesn’t happen as much as it used to, but the days it does, I make sure I enjoy every moment. My Red Flower Quilt was machine pieced and I hand quilted. If I remember this pattern is from a quilt magazine, I probably made it in the late 80’s. It’s still timeless.
It’s just pretty.
Measures about 16′ x 16″
It’s paper pieced, which I don’t do anymore, so machine pieced
and I hand quilted.
Take time to enjoy EVERY day !

Thank you 2109… We have had a FANTASTIC year and finger’s crossed the same wonderful in 2020!
Reflections as time passes is my way of remembering. The travel, the laughter and the moments of moving forward. Husband and I have faced everything head on and together. Laughter has been our life line. Our kids and grands are all health and have so much love to share with us. Husband has taken on projects around our home. He takes my drawing and ideas and runs with them.
Care giving has taken on a new form and the education of that has been a mile stone for me and learning to say “No”or “Stop” has fed my strength and understanding to take care of myself first. Silence is my home and answering with that has given me my own power to let things and other’s be or go. Drama is not a word or a way I do anything any more.
We had the privilege to go on a Viking River Cruise, it was unbelievable and all I can really say is, “Get outside of your own world and see everything, it’s all wonderful ! “ My first time overseas and I’m sure that I was in Passau, Germany before…. magic or my first life?? I carry my camera always and here are just a few of 2019. I totaled the photo’s for 2019, 11,248, what a year ! !
This photo below is as we pulled out of Budapest, Hungry into the Danube River, and it really looked like that. The Church photo is from St. Stephen’s Church in Vienna, the only photoshop done on it was the guy in the bright green stripped shirt, he just wouldn’t move ! He has been deleted !
When you return home and glow in what you have, peace, happiness and our own wonderful.

Taking so many photo’s, I wanted to challenge myself with one flower and just started taking photos. In total, I took 35 photos. This is an early bloom from our April.. I use a point and shot camera now, have the other kind but….. My “Center Pink” Photos.
Not a lot of computer work was done on each photo. I’m not a huge fan of spending time with photoshop ! My dream is to have someone sitting next to me and just telling them what I want….someday??
The biggest part of going over these photos was the cleaning off of all the pollen. Center Pink in Black and White too !
I’m learning HAPPY, I’m doing it and LOVING every step of the journey I have been on.
Probably the best is, it’s for me, not one another person, it’s for ME ! My anxiety is moving to the side, as I try to just let things be and not fixing anything.
Stepping back and not overthinking is hard when your whole life has been pleasing everyone. But, I now sleep for rest, eat with purpose, say what I need, laugh as often and as much as I can.
One of my photo’s. In real, this flower is about one to one and a half inches across and perfect.
I have a friend who says, I live in a fantasy world of quilts, art and plants. Today is Houseplant Appreciation Day. This is my little corner of the world. Plants play a huge part of it.
After LOTS of time, lots of thinking I can, could I and maybe’s. I have done it ! ! ! Happy Dancing.
I have added my Pictures and Art to Fine Art America ! I have three collections with more to come. These are two of my pictures, DAISY ME photo, watercolor MILK and DONUTS, at Fine Art America, they do all the printing, and if you like matting and framing !
I hope you take some time and look around and see all I have been doing. I will be adding more in the next few days and I can’t explain how proud I am of myself. Just making my OWN Dreams into Reality
Stop over and see what I have been doing. ! These are all printable from home, or just save them, take to your local printer. More prints will be added regularly !
I hope you haven’t noticed, but….I have pulled back a bit from Facebook, my post from here will still go there, but I have just under 5000 followers and after watching my number over the past month, most days my posts are ONLY released to about 200 followers.
I know it’s a safety thing with them now, but….I just can’t afford to pay for weekly or daily ad’s with them. Have to do what is best for me too. So if you, want to see me, Stop in here DAILY, I will be posting here. You can still click on Facebook and it will bring you to me ! Or just stop here first.
Beth Ann, aka…..ME, doing watercolors. Stop over and see what I have been doing.
I like to edit photo’s in my camera, meaning, I don’t just point and shot. I point it and then mess with the way is looks, move the camera left, right, up and down. Change mode on camera. Thank goodness I didn’t do that here on my White Lily Photo.
In other words WAY over think every bit of the photo. Why? I don’t like fixing it time on the computer later, just shot it right ! I said out loud many times, “Shot the picture! ” and had results like this.
