One Flower Photo, One Moment

One Flower into Many Photo’s

Taking so many photo’s, I wanted to challenge myself with one flower and just started taking photos. In total, I took 35 photos. This is an early bloom from our April.. I use a point and shot camera now, have the other kind but….. My “Center Pink” Photos.

Not a lot of computer work was done on each photo. I’m not a huge fan of spending time with photoshop ! My dream is to have someone sitting next to me and just telling them what I want….someday??

The biggest part of going over these photos was the cleaning off of all the pollen. Center Pink in Black and White too !

And the “Center Pink” #1. My favorite.

Challenging Myself

Photo Boom on my White Lily

I like to edit photo’s in my camera, meaning, I don’t just point and shot. I point it and then mess with the way is looks, move the camera left, right, up and down. Change mode on camera. Thank goodness I didn’t do that here on my White Lily Photo.

In other words WAY over think every bit of the photo. Why? I don’t like fixing it time on the computer later, just shot it right ! I said out loud many times, “Shot the picture! ” and had results like this.

After our vacation with the family in South Dakota, Husband and I took a few days in Denver. We visited the Denver Botanical Gardens.

These gardens were over the moon ! and I took LOTS of pictures. Just a few here My Canon Camera

Weekly Wednesday Photo my Blue Heart Flowers

All my talk lately about photo saving, filing and doing, is really about a new computer I received from Husband LAST Christmas (2017) and I JUST opened up the box and I am trying to use it. It’s also….. all about my learning the photo program, Photoshop. AND I figured with a laptop, throwing it OUT the window would be easier. But the results…I have to say with pain, “I like.”

Weekly Wednesday PHOTO

We are just back from two weeks on a plane, a car and lots of walking, aka hiking. Husband and I took 3268 pictures, yes that’s the number. Of course, lots of flowers. Here is some of mine right from the camera, only added the water mark. Saying that, I did take 17 photo’s in about a 5 minutes. I heard a photo instructor in my mind saying, “Stop editing in camera.” But…I do, I’m not a photo shop lover….Rather spend time taking photo’s than fixing them.

Take Time Thursday

I picked up grocery store flowers and just shot pictures, daisy photo’s, nothing better. I have been reading, “Perfectly Yourself” by Matthew Kelly. He says, about the phrase, Practice makes perfect, “Practice makes progress.” OK, mind blowing for me. Notebooks of ideas of quilts, watercolors, paintings to do and over thinking each idea and everything I do….Must be perfect, must to complete, must…must…be perfect. No, I need to just be me. I think maybe with more knowledge of photography, I have set myself up. Today, I let my own process be, I can just some how see it.

Happy Mother’s Day to All

I love sharing my photo’s and today I’m giving myself a Mother’s Day treat. I have been working on macro photography, (up close photo’s) it’s a little hard to do with a point and shot camera, my camera, but I’m fine with that. I guess it’s my form of macro?? Or close but not too close? Happy Mother’s Day to ALL !
