My NEW Password Log Book

Make it Simple and Do it !

Why I Created Our New Password Log Book: Love, Loss, and the Details We Leave Behind. NO ONE wants to think about any of this, but please do !

This book wasn’t something I planned to make. It grew out of one of those life moments that leaves you both grateful and a little rattled.

Simple and easy log book

When my husband stepped up as executor for a dear friend’s estate, we found ourselves knee deep in paperwork, locked accounts, unanswered security questions, and endless guessing about passwords.

The stress was real, but more than that, there was a quiet sadness that lingered over every, “how would our children want us to do this?” The experience taught us something simple but important: write things down.

Not just the big stuff, like insurance policies and banking info, but the everyday little details too. Websites, usernames, passwords, PIN numbers, phone unlock codes… all the things that seem small, until you need them and don’t have them.

So that’s why this Password Log Book exists. It’s for today—so you don’t waste time resetting passwords or searching for account numbers.
And it’s for tomorrow—offering peace of mind for the people who may someday need to step in for you.

It’s organization, yes—but more than that, it’s a quiet kind of love. Love remembers. And this is one small way to make sure everything important is written down, kept safe, and easy to find when it matters most.

Keeping my Sanity, As I make my dreams into reality

See What I have been doing, New Books

It’s been crazy here for a bit, it’s plain life. Life handed us a storm you never saw coming, our storm came with my husband’s health battles. Hospital visits, long nights, and endless waiting rooms can leave you feeling like you’re spinning in place with no footing.

So, I escaped. Not in a big way—no plane tickets, no beach vacations. Time with a laptop in a hospital room and moments I make my way into the softest place I know as my little library. The quiet shelves, family photos, scattered notebooks of ideas, the comfort of pens in a little coffee mug, my refuge. I will do each book as a post soon and share more but for now…this is what I have been doing.

I created I needed in MY day-to-day life things, a sense of order, a landing spot, and daily joys to hold onto.

Quilt Planner for a Quilter by a Quilter

I stated with my Quilt Planner—pages full of spaces to remember, share the possibility, reminding me that I make beautiful things and I don’t want them to be forgotten. I have added spaces for daily feelings as I work on a project, fabric swatches, ideas, it’s all in one space.

Then came a Monthly Daily Planner. I needed something to help me keep track of the endless lists in my head—appointments, to-dos, meds, phone calls, meals.  AlMonthly Weekly Planner from The quilt Ladiesl those tiny pieces of life that start slipping when your heart is so heavy.

daily faith for a moment to insight to your day, a few lines to writeMy Daily Reading & Journal, has been in the works for years. This is a project from my heart. My 15 second daily reading, quiet space for reflection, thoughts, and questions. Some days I write one word. Some days I write all the lines given. One reading per day, each is dated and YES, I usually read them 2-3 times a day when I need to take a deep breath. They make me feel a little more grounded.

Password Log BookMy Password Log – This log book began out of necessity. When my husband served as the executor of a dear friend’s estate late year, we quickly realized how important it is to have everything written down, organized, accessible, and in one place.

I have heard it said, “Everything’s on my Phone,” but who has the code to get into your phone???

lined journal with original watercolors flowers on the pages, from Beth Ann of The Quilt Ladies This is for me  My Journal, my Junk Journal.

I love, need, and use notebooks and this one is all me with my original watercolor flowers added to the pages. I basically made my dream notebook and justified it as “totally practical.” Eighty lined pages of pure possibility.

Let’s be honest: some days I am writing deep thoughts, and other days you’re just scribbling “don’t forget to buy toilet paper.” Both are valid. And this journal doesn’t judge.

It’s my brain’s best friend and has become my go-to gift for friends. If you’re looking for a notebook that feels like a warm hug and makes you look like you have your life together… this might be it.

Read a few lines of happy every day from The Quilt LadiesDaily Happiness
And perhaps the dearest to me right now: a little Happiness Reading each day. Just a few lines of joy, encouragement, or quiet wisdom to whisper to my tired heart: “You’re doing okay.”  Sometimes, that’s all I need to hear.

I didn’t plan to create all these things at once and am working on a post for each, they are wonderful, useful and mine, and here is the place I share.  I followed what my heart needed. And page by page, piece by piece, I found a little piece of my own again.
