This is Son #2’s Graduation quilt from 2000, the quilts been used and loved. And I just saw it hanging on a quilt stand at their house. I don’t remember this being expensive fabric but it has worn well, machine pieced and I had it long arm quilted. This has always been a favorite pattern of mine. Cutting for ONE BlockCut 1 Blue – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cut 4 White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cut 2 Black – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
Cut 2 Blue – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
Make Triangles
Make into 9-patch
Cut 4 Red – 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
Cut 12 White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Cut 6 White – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
Cut 6 Blue – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
Make Triangles
Cut 4 Lt. Blue – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
Sew as shown
