This quilt pattern block is ONE of my favorites and one that I seems to go back to time and time again. It’s a Friendship Star. This is a three inch by three inch finished quilt pattern. See the complete quilt here.
I piece by triangle as I would for a larger quilt pattern block. I piece mine as shown here, and remember to press the pieces and trim as you go.
Make Triangles
Cut 2 Color 1 7/8” x 1 7/8”
Cut 2 Backgrounds 1 7/8” x 1 7/8”
Cut 1 Color Center 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”
Cut 4 Backgrounds 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”
