September is in the Air and Time for a NEW Quilt Pattern

The Quilt Ladies

Here in Florida it kind of feels like the start of fall, in the high 80″s?!? Afternoon rains have changed to all day and I like it, gives a reason to be in my sewing room most of the day. My newest quilt pattern is “September Quilt” with four different ways to make it into quilt.

Using all four units is the featured quilt with a finished size is 72″ x 72″
Using just unit 1 the quilt will have a finished size of 72″ x 72″
Unit 1 and 2 quilt block will give your a quilt 60″ x 60″
And using units 1,2 and 3 will give you a quilt 96″ x 70″

This quilt pattern is all straight piecing and my quilt pattern has all cutting and piecing instructions. Each quilt block has a finished size of eleven inches by eleven inches, you will need four quilt blocks to make the quilt as shown, making the finished size of the quilt twenty-nine inches by twenty-nine inches. Extra quilt block patterns are given so you can color them in and move color before cutting fabric.

The Bear Paw pattern has been redesigned into Sixteen different quilt blocks, each with a finished size of Fourteen by fourteen inches. The quilt will be 88” x 84” finished size.

Little BUT Mighty Quilt Block Pattern

Happy 4th of JULY

TODAY, it’s a LITTLE quilt pattern block for you to make. This little quilt block has a finished size of two inches by two inches. I use a 1/4″ seam allowance, sew the seam and then trim down to about an 1/8″ seam allowance and press, as you would with a larger quilt block. SEE all my quilt patterns HERE

1 Dark 1 7/8” X 1 7/8”
1 White 1 7/8” X 1 7/8”
Make largest triangles

2 Medium 1 3/8″ X 1 3/8″
2 White 1 3/8″ X 1 3/8″

One Quilt Block TWELVE Ways Book

This is the second quilt I made for our first grandchild. Designed around a simple Friendship pattern is taken in a new direction, from its basic form turns into a fun and wonderful. That’s the reason for it’s name, One Quilt Block Twelve Ways. Each block has a finished size of Twelve-by-Twelve Inches and you have a total of Twelve patterns.
The finished quilt uses all the patterns and is 54″ x 76″ when finished.
