B. Annie Quilt Pattern is all about ME! I don’t say that a lot.

This Quilt started with a simple Bear Paw quilt block and then drawing and drawing sixteen quilt blocks that took that simple block and made all sixteen mine.

The quilt as always going to have white background, I love quilt lines on white fabric, pink of course that’s me, adding color with greens, red, in both solids and prints. The outside border is pieced with green square and triangle leaves.

Have you ever made a quilt and as each quilt block is finished you giggle at what you just did? This is how I felt as this quilt was going together, into a finished eighty-eight by eighty-four-inch quilt. Kind of Perfect.

That’s my B. Annie quilt all about ME! Should say that more, one of my faults? Maybe it’s just taking care of so many.

Now IF you have read this far?!?! and who does?!? I am going to share these! Yes, AI helped me do them.
BUT I did all the art, all the quilt blocks, all the sewing, quilting, the quilt book cover, and naming everything, it HELPED me put it together in an ad sheet… AND I LOVE it! Just need to share !
AND it took me a bit of time to do!

Fourteen inch Star Quilt Block

On our visit last year to Minnesota, our bed had the quilt on it that Son #2 took to college. Quilt Block Pattern Below for you to Make/Sew

Updated 2026

It’s so soft

Machine pieced and I had it long arm quilted.

Looking pretty good for 20+ years old.

From Son #2’s Graduation quilt from 2000, the quilts been used and loved. This has always been a favorite pattern of mine.

And, before you ask, I don’t know the name.
Finished block size 14″ x 14″

Cutting for ONE Block

Cut 1 Blue – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Cut 4 White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Cut 2 Black – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Cut 2 Blue – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Make Triangles

Make into 9-patch

Cut 4 Red – 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″

Cut 12 White – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Cut 6 White – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Cut 6 Blue – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Make Triangles

Cut 4 Lt. Blue – 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Sew as shown

Sew triangle unit together

Here is a Complete quilt pattern for you. I think it’s a fun quilt because of the colors and the black making it pop. This quilt LOOKS hard BUT it’s just triangles.

I cut 3 7/8″ blocks to make my triangles, you can cut any size you would like. I made and quilted this quilt YEARS ago and I have used it as a table topper, a front door quilt and as a lay over the back of the couch quilt for color. My quilt has a finished size of 30 inches by 30 inches.

For the center

Cut 1 Blue – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 1 Orange – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Make Triangles How I make my Triangles

Cut 2 Blue – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 2 Orange – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 4 Black – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Make Triangles

Cut 4 Black – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

Sew units as shown, sew to the sides. Sew top and bottom as shown and sew

Finished center of the quilt block.

Cut 6 Orange – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 6 Blue – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Make Triangles

Cut 1 Orange – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 1 Blue – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Cut 2 Black – 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″
Make Triangles
Sew as shown add sides first, then top and bottom

Orange and Blue Star Quilt — Free Star Quilt Pattern

Cut 4 Blue 3 1/2″ x 24 1/2″

Cut 4 Orange – 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

Sew one orange square on to each end of two blue strips

Sew sides on first and then the top and bottom

I cut my binding 2 1/2″ by 130″

A Star Quilt Block

Make a Star – Log Cabin Quilt Block

Today’s free quilt block features a large star design. The center is a patchwork of various rectangular fabric pieces, with loads of patterns and colors. I used white to set the colors of the quilt block off. This quilt block has a finished size of
12″ x 12″ A mix of a star and log cabin quilt block.

My December 2024 Quilt Pattern features a repeating geometric star pattern. The stars contain a darker blue center and radiate outwards with gold and yellow tones. These stars are arranged in a grid of four rows and three columns, all separated by a bold red background. The outer border is decorated with a red and white geometric design, with blue accents in the corners.

Embracing Change While Staying True to Myself

I am staying around, but making a change!
After my Facebook page was hacked, I have decided to close my Facebook account to focus on a more secure way to stay connected with you. Here at BethAnnDoing.com

I will be closing my Facebook page (or; they did it for me) as part of a new direction in letting go of what I cannot change.

This recent hack has made me understand that I need to slim things down, change back to what I like doing. I love sharing my quilts, quilt patterns, painting my pictures, photographing flowers and day to day with you all, not monitor others words, and opinions.

BUT this is not goodbye—it’s just a change in how we connect.
