We lived in Nebraska for a few years. The people were the best part and I miss them, but not the weather ! It had the hottest of hot weather and the coldest of cold weather, I don’t think I was warm for years. Here is my quilt pattern block for the state of Nebraska. I learned what team spirit was following the Nebraska College football team, and I learned all about Arbor Day
Finished quilt block is fourteen inches by fourteen inches. I like that this block is two colors and white. The two colors can be ANY two colors, have fun !
Cut 42 Blue – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 34 White – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Make 8 Nine patch squares
and 1 four patch square
Cut 16 White – 1 ½” x 3 ½”
Cut 6 Blue – 1 ½” x 3 ½”
Sew as Shown
Cut 6 Green – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Cut 6 White – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Make Triangles
Sew as Shown
