I want to show you how it can one quilt block and change it a bit and it will come together in a few different ways. Finished quilt block is four by four inches. This little quilt block has taken on a life of it’s own. It’s my number one on social media spots.

Forty-seven years of marriage—can you believe it?
That’s 17,155 days of wedded bliss, occasional debates over everything, and more shared meals than we can count (some more successful than others), I really do try?!?
And since 47 years deserves a little something special and I love a simple quilt project, they are kind of like a marriage, quilting requires patience, creativity, and a good seam ripper.
Seams are perfectly straight, but sometimes they need a little adjustment, and in the end, it all comes together beautifully (kind of like Husband and I).
So here’s to 47 years of love, laughter, and never quite agreeing on why we need a eating schedule?!? Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to celebrate—with cake, of course.
Cheers to love, stitches, and YOU make this happy table topper, it’s one I use all the time. It has a finished size of 18″ x 24″, made with simple 2 1/2″ squares. Nothing better than 2 1/2″ cut squares.

Tired? You know what tired means? It means you actually did something and I keep telling myself that.
I Googled “tired” and it talked about running marathon, a brisk walk…I am talking about every OLD age bone hurting in my body, EVERY BONE.
And, let me be honest, I get good sleep.
You ever try to fall asleep when you’re well-rested? It’s awful. I just lie there, making sure the cable box light doesn’t go out, or making sure I planned the grain to go the right directions for the counter top project we are doing, or did I shower tonight?
BUT tired when sleep hits me it’s like a bear hug under my quilt. One minute I am thinking, “I should read” and the next, I wake up with drool on your pillow. Kind of Perfection.
Plus, I guess being old I can blame everything on being tired.
I put the milk in the pantry and my coffee cup in the fridge?
Tired.
Accidentally call your Husband, “Mom”?
Yep, tired again.
“And Yes, I ate the last four cookies, OF COURSE I DID, I was tired.”
See? Works every time.
So really, tired isn’t a bad thing??? Let the Library, office and sewing room remodel continue and YES, we put down the tile floor ourselves and YES it about KILLED me !

I have one Grandson who is just his own person (from birth), has his own ideas and his VERY own way of doing everything. A simple Friendship pattern is taken in a new direction, from its basic form turns into a fun and wonderful. Each block has a finished size of Twelve-by-Twelve Inchesand you have a total of Twelve patterns.
The finished quilt uses all the patterns and is 54″ x 76″ when finished.
Step by step cutting directions, a getting started section on how to make squares, triangle, quarter squares and adding triangles to corner units. And just added a how to bind your quilt section.
Start with a simple log cabin and turn it upside down.
This quilt pattern is all straight piecing and my quilt pattern has all cutting and piecing instructions.
