I have been trying to Celebrate Every Day. My Mom is in a nursing center and in the process she has forgotten joy. The joy of the simple or the joy of grand.
I have taken to writing ONE thing each day. I have found a notebook and it’s my goal to journal that one joy each day. Big or small, an idea or a simple walk around the block. Quote’s I’ve read or something fun someone said today.
The journal maybe better as it’s written, I see NO iphone calendars at the facility. Maybe in 20 years…
I add the Year – 2019 and then one special thing for that day, this book will last me 20 years.
I figure, I’m 61 now, in 20 years I will have 20 wonders for each day ! I want to live in Happiness as I grow old. To get YOU started, I found these day celebrations from this site, http://www.holidayinsights.com

It’s been along time coming, finding a place for everything. We went from a four bedroom, four bath house to a two bedroom, two bath condo, with no basement and a one car garage. And, I love it. I have gotten things paired down and now it’s time to make things pretty and finished. We went to all the show rooms and looked…but Husband kept saying, “I can do this.” So here we go ! Lots of measuring and plans later, here we go.
I love our Ikea dressers and I purchased the matching hutches for them. Painting walls, double up the rods, shelving above and a new ceiling light.
First, it’s time to “Clean it OUT !” I have been a bit brutal about it. Not worn it or seen it for years, “LET IT GO”!
The Fun has STARTED !

This Cheese Broccoli Soup is one of my go to recipes. It’s very easy and I do it at least once a month. Recipe is included here, but please know that this is the best clean out the frig soup you can make. It comes out perfect every time.
Use a purchased chicken or cook/shed two chicken breasts.Fiesta Tableware
1 mix of Cheese Broccoli Soup – Make soup as directed on the package. Add 2 Cups of the Rotisserie Chicken cut and shredded. 1 Small onion, 1 can of whole kernel corn drained, 1 can of black beans drained and washed. 1 Carrot diced.
Add all ingredients to a soup pan, stir and let cook for 15-20 minutes just be cook vegetables. Salt and Pepper to your taste.
This soup is great with all vegetable, and great with turkey or ground beef too.
