Cut 2 Dark 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” triangles

Cut 2 Medium 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” triangles

Sew into triangles

Cut 2 Medium 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″

Cut 1 Medium 2 1/2″ x 6 1/2″

Sew together as shown – add outside triangle

I just noticed, the quilt block pictures is turned, it’s the right pattern…

Bear Paw Quilt Pattern

This is the simple quilt pattern block I made that inspired my book. I took a simple quilt block and changed each block, based on this Bear Paw quilt, which was a gift to my Mom, years ago.

Finished Quilt Block Size 14” x 14”

Cut 8 White 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”

Cut 8 Pink 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”

Make Triangles

Cut 9 Pink 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Cut 8 Green 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Cut 4 White 2 ½” x 2 ½”

Cut 4 White 2 ½” x 6 ½”

Log Cabin Quilt Pattern Block

A Log Cabin quilt pattern for you today. The fun part of this quilt block is the center, it’s done just a bit different. It starts with 3 fabric strips. Finished quilt block will measure ten inches by ten inches.

Cutting colors follows quilt pattern on the left.

Cut t 2 Dk. Blue – 2 ½” x 1 ½”

Cut 2 Blue – 2 ½” x 1 ½”

Sew to make center

Cut 2 Blue – 4 ½” x 1 ½”

Sew on the right and left side

Cut 2 Red – 4 ½” x 1 ½”

Sew on to the top and bottom

Cut 2

Gray – 6 ½” x 1 ½”

Sew on the right and left side

Cut 2 Green – 6 ½” x 1 ½”

Sew on to the top and bottom

Cut 2 Dark Green – 10 ½” x 2 ½’

Sew on the right and left side
