Things are a bit NUTS here, but I’m up early and wanted to share one of my NEW State Quilt Patterns, this is my South Dakota quilt pattern, the book page as it will look, ENJOY ! YOU can see all my Quilt Patterns at:
This quilt pattern is ALL about our second Grand. As a baby he never stopped and with big brother only two years older, it was hard at times as he was the sit and player. Some where along the way Grand#2 received the title, “Crazy Man” and it’s stuck !
Great quilt size for a snuggle quilt or a baby blanket, 48″ x 60″ and as always with a VERY affordable price, to you in MOMENTS.
The other day I shared a quilt photo and after thinking about it and LOOKING…. around the quilt ladies, I found my tutorial for my Quilted Table Topper Pattern. The posts are huge, with loads of photo’s, I have them divided into parts so here you go !
My quilt topper is Machine pieced and I hand quilted it.
My Quilt Table Topper – Quilt Pattern for YOU ! Just click on each Part and you will be taken to my Quilt Ladies Site.
The name of this quilt block takes me right back to my Great Grandmother’s long white kitchen table and seeing her work around the kitchen with grace, a smile, feeding all who arrived at her door. This is my quilt block Corn and Bean’s quilt block pattern.

When new to quilting I always say, “It’s only a square.” Start with a quilt block using Squares. Don’t over think it, it’s a square. Here is my how to link for making squares, using freezer paper, I never think purchasing a cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter in the first thing you need to purchase for quilting. Have a working sewing machine, good sewing thread and the best 100% cotton fabric you can afford. AND ALWAYS ASK AROUND, friends will loan you a sewing machine, most will help with threading it, teaching you to sew a straight line, it can become an adventure
I cut 3 colors of fabric for ONE Nine Patch quilt block you will NEED,
Meeting EVERY Tuesday to quilt is My Ladies. Doing large projects to small ones, they come together with baskets of fabric, ideas and laughter.“The Ladies” They talked time to time about doing a quilt pattern book and finally it was time to draw out their favorite quilt blocks and share them with all of you. All the quilt blocks stitched together, a quilt design (finished quilt measures 76″ x 84″ ) and that’s what became “The Ladies” Quilt Pattern Book. There is one of the Quilt Patterns from the book. The book has 68 quilt blocks, with a finished size of eight inches by eight inches. Here is my tutorial on How “I” make my triangles

This quilt post just keeps going and going. I’m re-posting it as I think to tie a quilt is a quick way to finish a quilt which is to be loved and used.
As with everything I’m sure there are a few ways of doing a tied quilt, this is the way “I” do it.
Happy Mother’s Day to all, Mother’s, Sisters and Girl Friends. We can only do this all together and with each heart we step as one. Today, I am continuing to change up traditional quilt patterns.
