what makes it look like many more is the fabric. Machine pieced and I hand quilted with large stitches. You will need a total of 20 quilt blocks to make this quilt as shown.
I didn’t over think fabric, if it was a paisley, it was in and if it was a plaid, it was in, everything was from my closet. not thinking about ANY placement. Cut square and let the piecing go as it may ! Finished block size 6″ x 6″ Here is how I sew squares.

To Make a Dream a Reality you HAVE to do the work. I love designing and making quilts ! The computer part NOT so much, BUT…I am doing it ! And here is one of MY new Quilt Pattern Books.
Log Cabin Fun a Quilt Pattern Book is taking a traditional log cabin quilt pattern having fun with color and pattern. You can use all the scraps in your quilt fabric or purchase all new. Complete cutting and piecing instructions are given, with full color quilt block photos.
12 – 8-inch by 8-inch quilt patterns to use as they are, or with instructions included, change them into 12- 12-inch by 12-inch quilt blocks.
Nothing says quilting like a Log Cabin quilt block. There is many ways to piece a log cabin, I added all the strip piece cutting measurement, but I like to cut strips and sew. You do YOU !

The day is just starting and are you EXHAUSTED ??? I am. The Thanksgiving hangover. Hope to spend sometime in my sewing room today….BUT if not here’s a quilt pattern for you !
I was looking for something in my quilt tubs and found this quilt. It’s a little red, log cabin quilt, the log cabin blocks are made using cut strips of one inch. Using a 5 inch package of charm fabrics. I used to do trunk shows and quilts like this were a part of that show, I have a lot of quilts.
I found what I needed, and the tub is all packed up again.
Thank you for supporting my Etsy shop and my Quilt Ladies Book on Kindle and Nook, nothing is possible without your purchases, Beth
