Let’s Add a Border Quilt Pattern

September Quilt Pattern

This quilt pattern is sewing in units to form the quilt block.
Unit one have a finished size of 12” x 12”
Keep building/sewing on this 12×12 to make the quilt block 20”x20”

As you add the third unit of triangle you make your quilt block 24” x 24”
Adding unit 4 will make your completed quilt block 36” x 36” and it will be come September’s Quilt Pattern 2024

You will need to make for 4 quilt blocks (units1-4) to have the quilt as shown. Or make units 1-2, or 1,2,3 or unit 1

FOUR complete quilts are shown and all cutting is there for you too.

Make All my Monthly Quilt Patterns

It’s time for my May Quilt Pattern, the fifth quilt pattern of 2024.

My May Quilt as shown is 40″ x 40″ . Each of the baskets of flowers has a finished size of 14″ x 14″ May Quilt Pattern

April Quilt Pattern has a finished size of 46″ x 46″ and is shown is yellow, blue and white, but any colors will work perfect. It’s all about the white background. See April Quilt Pattern – HERE

Each quilt block is 8 inches by 8 inches, Finished quilt is 64 inches by 64 inches. March’s quilt pattern is broken into sections and you will be able to follow right along.

March Quilt Pattern

February’s Quilt is made up of 16” x 16” quilt blocks. For the quilt as shown you will need 9 quilt blocks. The quilt is shown in red, white and gray, But you can use any three colors you like, or use up your scraps to highlight the solid white in the quilt block.

2 different quilt patterns are in the book, as shown with sashing and another without sashing. February Quilt Pattern

Make 16 quilt blocks and you have a quilt, also included is a complete get started and quilt binding section. COMPLETE Cutting Instructions

Here in Florida this is a very special time of year. It’s our spring time, we had a few Robin’s in the back yard yesterday and the days are getting just a bit longer.

I am making myself first and I know you all know how hard that is. I started a bit more walking, get my stamina built up and the 2023 Quilt Block of the Month is going too.

January is the month of new and the featured quilt in this month quilt has a finished size of 36” x 36”
I designed four more quilt using the basic quilt block,
Quilt Two is a four quilt block quilt, with a finished size of 32” x 32”
Quilt Three has a finished size of 40” x 40”.
Quilt Four has a finished size of 24” x 24” with loads of white space for quilting.
Quilt Five is four doubled giving you’re a finished quilt of 48” x 48”.
