This is another fun and quirky quilt pattern block for you to make. I like the way it’s traditional with a twist on the top. Basic straight line piecing using squares and triangles. It has a finished size of six inches by six inches.
Cut 4 Color 2 3/8” x 2 3/8”
Cut 4 Background 2 3/8” x 2 3/8”
Make triangles you will have one leftover
Cut 1 Background Corner 2” x 2”
Reserve block from Wednesday
Cut 2 Background Strip 2” X 31/2”

I love this quilt pattern it’s so simple and just a bit quirky. The square on the bottom turns into the base of the quilt block. The finished size of this quilt block is six inches by six inches.

Here is one of my quilt pattern blocks it’s from my book 53 Quilt Pattern Blocks – HERE and in my Classic Quilt Pattern Bundle – HERE The finished size of this quilt block is Eight inches by Eight inches.
I think with age I remember things better. Grand 1 is now almost 17 years old and seeing this quilt block takes me right back to the days of making it. This is a pattern I drafted for a quilt for Grand #1 for his birthday. It may have an “Official Name” but to me it’s Grand #1’s Quilt block.
This quilt pattern is named Autumn Trails, but to me it’s a triangle quilt pattern. You will need a lighter color background to keep the pattern in the quilt block. Autumn Trails – Finished size six inches by six inches.
Cut 2 Background – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ Cut 2 Colored – 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″ Make Triangles

Log Cabin Quilt Block Pattern is a classic quilt block that all quilters love and use all the time. This log cabin has a finished size of ten inches by ten inches. This quilt block as pictures used blues on one side and loud pink flowers on the other.
Cut 1 Yellow – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Cut 2 Blue – 2 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew to make center
Cut 2 Gray – 4 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew on the right and left side
Cut 1 Green – 4 ½” x 1 ½” Sew to the top

Little Churn Dash Quilt Pattern Block. I love little quilt blocks and I piece my little one’s the same way a do a large quilt block. I use a 1/4″ seam allowance and trim it to 1/16″ after each seam is sewn.
This Churn Dash Block has a finished size of 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. My quilt block is machine pieced and hand quilted.
