Today’s quilt pattern is a good one, if you have scraps around, change the pink strips to cut size, 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ squares, or piece out the center?? Just a few ideas to make the quilt block your own. This block is a finished quilt block size of eight inches by eight inches.

With the long weekend here is a quilt block that is just fun to make. This is one of the quilt block from my old Quilt Ladies site and it took off on Pinterest???? I have NO idea how or what makes one quilt pattern do that and other’s not?? This quilt block was first posted in 2015…. and still is reposted ALL the time ! This quilt block’s name is “Corn and Beans” and being an Iowa girl this quilt block was all about the name.
