Cut 4 Pink – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew as shown

Monthly Quilt Block for June

It’s all about different in this quilt block and it’s perfect to use up those quilt scraps of fabric you have. I like the scrappiness of fabric prints.
This quilt block has a finished size of 12″ x 12″

How to make Quilt Block Triangles

Cut 4 Pink – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Sew as shown

Cut 20 Assorted Colors – 1 ½” x 2 ½”
Cut 16 White – 1 ½” x 2 ½”
Make 4 units as shown

Sew 2, sew one on left and one on right

Long Weekend Quilt Block Pattern to Make

Lots of Quilt Patterns in ONE Quilt Block

Today is what I call a BREAK it DOWN quilt pattern block.

It looks complicated but doing it in sections is the key. Kind of a long cabin quilt block meets triangles. Looking at today with the right fabric colors would be a wonderful flower quilt block.

Make Triangle

Cut 1 Lt. Green – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”

Taking a traditional log cabin center, adding a quilt star points, changes a basic quilt block of something new. The finished quilt block is twelve inches by twelve inches.
