Cut 1 Center – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 4 Colors – 1 7/8”’ x 1 7/8”
Cut 4 White – 1 7/8” x 1 7/8”

Blue is kind of my color right now. I change all the time but I  think blue and white has a traditional feel, then using modern fabrics a bit of a new look. This quilt block you will use four-patch blocks and triangles

Finished quilt block will be eight inches by eight inches.

Cut 4 White – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Make Triangles

Cut 1 Blue – 2 ½” x 2 ½”
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 2 ½” Sew to the Top
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 3 ½” Sew to the Right Side
Cut 1 White – 1 ½” x 3 ½” Sew to the Bottom
Cut 1 White – 1 ½”x 4 ½” Sew to the Left Side

Changing Up a Star Quilt Pattern

Star Quilt Block Pattern made NEW

New and more NEW ! I have been getting things together again, changing and taking really good care of myself. This star is from my quilt pattern drawer and I hope you like it !
A Star quilt block pattern with a lot of pieces and it’s really easy to make, just break it down as shown. The Star quilt block pattern has a 
finished size of eight inches by eight inches.

Make the quilt star points a bright color, they can get lost of you do scrap as I did.

Cut 4 White        1 1/2” x 1 1/2”

Cut 10 White 1 7/8” x 1 7/8”
Cut these in half to make triangles

Cut 4 Red 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Cut these in half to make triangles

Cut 2 White        2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Cut these in half to make triangles

 Cut   1 Lt. Blue 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Cut in half to make triangles

 Cut 8 Gray 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”
Cut 2 Green       1 1/2” x 1 1/2”
Cut 6 Yellow      1 1/2” x 1 1/2”

Colored Background Star Quilt Block

Background fabric that pops !

This is one of the quilt patterns from my book 
I’m usually one who goes to white for my background color. With this quilt block being a traditional star I wanted to change to a colored background and it’s PINK ! The finished quilt block is 12″ x 12″
