I just finished this book, The Wife by Alafair Burke and I LOVED it. It’s one I could not put down. It’s a story that is VERY timely and I did NOT have it figured out at ALL ! !
Angela has a different kind of past, but has moved away pretty well. She’s living with her son and husband Jason. Everything is great….UNTIL…a woman accuses him of sexual harassment. From there the story builds and builds. From the way she handles everything, lawyers, the detective, and friends. I can’t tell much more… But I couldn’t put it down.
