Taking last weeks simple quilt block and let’s have some fun with it. This new quilt block will also have a finished size of eight inches by eight inches. See how adding just squares the quilt block changes.Â

Make Triangles How to
You have to love this quilt block name, Shoofly and I’m sharing a 3 inch by 3 inch finished quilt block today. (Triangles) I choose a bit darker fabric for the four squares around the center, just me.Â
Cut 4 Background – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 1 Center – 1 ½” x 1 ½”
Cut 2 Colors – 1 7/8”’ x 1 7/8” Cut 2White – 1 7/8” x 1 7/8” Make TrianglesÂ
This quilt blocks name is Cat’s Cradle, with a finished size of 6 inches by 6 inches. The center quilt fabric is the one that pops as I pieced the quilt block. Triangle how to as I do them is here for you.Â
